A bundt cake?! Who am I?! It’s pretty clear that I’m a lover of layers but there’s something to be said about a cake that comes together in no time flat without any finesse so to speak. Donuts. Nothing quite compares to them. And they’re a lot like pizza in that even when they’re bad, they’re still pretty good. Growing up I was all for the chocolate-dipped, sprinkled, cream, or jelly-filled ones. You know the type, flashy and frilly. I had the realization not too long ago that I’ve officially become an old person when I passed those extravagant glitzy donuts and went straight for the old fashioned sour cream glazed.
