Description
Take the stress out of the holidays and make this easy no-bake gingerbread trifle made with instant pudding, dream whip, and vanilla cookie layers. A great last-minute dessert for those holiday gatherings.
Ingredients

1 package (102 grams) instant vanilla pudding mix

1 ½ cup milk (dairy-free or regular)

¼ cup fancy molasses

1 teaspoon ground ginger

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ teaspoon ground clove

2 cups sweetened whipped cream (dairy-free or regular)

1 box (180 grams) nilla wafers, cut in half (gluten-free or regular)

Optional: sprinkles *I used Merry & Bright by Sprinkle Pop
Instructions

In the bowl of a stand mixer combine the instant vanilla pudding mix, milk, fancy molasses, ginger, cinnamon, and clove and mix on medium for 3 minutes. Put in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to chill and firm up slightly.

While the pudding is chilling prepare the whipped cream if need be according to package instructions.

In a trifle bowl place, ⅓ of the nilla wafers in the bottom and generously sprinkle with sprinkles if using.

Add ⅓ of the whipped cream and spread evenly on top of the nilla wafers and sprinkles.

Add ⅓ of the gingerbread pudding and spread evenly on top of the whipped cream.

Repeat steps 3-5 until the ingredients are done or the trifle bowl is full.

Top with remaining nilla wafers and sprinkles. Enjoy!
